How France was able to save its art?

As you know, the art and culture of France dates back to several centuries. Indeed the new civilisation tends to make the French forget these ancient practices. Faced with this phenomenon, it was created in 1921 thanks to the intervention of Frenchman Edouard Mortier a structure named "Safeguard of French Art". The role of this structure is to preserve the cultural heritage of France. During its first 40 years, it was assigned the task of safeguarding religious culture, in particular rural churches throughout France. More than one million euros are used each year to renovate these chapels. With regard to endangered art objects, the foundation organised in 2013 a donation mobilisation session to protect these objects. With several hundred participants, the foundation raised approximately 350,000 euros. Thanks to these funds, these art objects could be saved and valued. Through these actions, the Sauvegarde de l'Art Français has motivated the young French generation to love the art of their country and to make it known throughout the world.
