When Michael accidentally hits an employee with his car, he distracts everyone by organizing a charity fun run to benefit rabies victims. Meanwhile, though Pam and Jim's relationship appears to have moved to a new level, Angela is afraid that Dwight has betrayed her trust.

Ryan returns to the Scranton branch and encounters resistance when he tries to introduce new technology to the crew. Michael wants to prove that a personal touch will win back his ex-clients and succeed where technology fails. Angela makes a decision about her relationship with Dwight.

The day the new Dunder Mifflin Infinity website debuts, Michael is excited to attend the VIP launch party in New York. Angela, still angry at Dwight and mourning her dead cat, plans a satellite party for the Scranton crew. Meanwhile Dwight sets out to prove he can sell more paper in one day than the website can.

Michael discovers that Jan's taste for luxury is putting him in debt, and he must sacrifice his pride and take on another job. Meanwhile, Pam and Jim visit a bed and breakfast that also happens to be the Schrute family farm.

The Dunder Mifflin is making a local advertisement for the paper company, and Michael dismisses the hired pros, and instead encourages his crew to be creative. Meanwhile, Dwight deals with the pain of losing Angela by retreating into Second Life.

When Karen tells Michael that she's luring Stanley to the Utica branch, Michael isn't going to let Stanley go without a fight. Unable to offer him the same salary that Karen can, Michael and Dwight instead declare war on Utica, dragging Jim along for the ride. Back at the office, the exclusive Finer Things Club stirs up some friction.

When Michael learns he was excluded from Ryan's wilderness retreat, he goes off alone into the woods to prove to himself that he can survive. Back at the office, Jim is in charge and upsets the staff when he tries to combine several individual birthday parties into one large one.

Jan sues Dunder Mifflin for wrongful termination, so Michael must find a way to please both his girlfriend and the company he loves. Back at the office, Kelly smack-talks Pam when Darryl beats Jim at ping-pong. Tired of her insults, Pam finds a way for Jim to improve his skills.

Jim and Pam are tricked into attending a dinner party hosted by Michael and Jan. Dwight becomes increasingly jealous when he learns that Andy and Angela were invited to Michael's as a couple, and that he was not invited at all.

Michael becomes enamored with an office supply catalog model, which convinces him that he's ready to start dating again. Meanwhile, Andy and Kevin fight to earn back the Dunder Mifflin parking spaces that were taken by other businesses in their building, and Jim and Pam discuss the future of their relationship.

Michael and Dwight drive up to the big city to hang out with Ryan and get a taste of the New York nightlife. Meanwhile, Jim's brilliant plan to get everyone's extra Saturday work done on Friday night backfires.

Michael gets tired of Stanley's sass, and tries to adjust his attitude a little. Meanwhile, Dwight capitalizes on a mistake of Andy's, and after Pam spends a night at Jim's place, she forgets her contact solution and has to wear her glasses to the office.

Michael, Pam, Darryl and Oscar man a booth at a job fair to recruit a summer intern. Back at the office, Dwight finds himself in a strange situation when everyone leaves except for Angela and himself. Meanwhile, Jim does everything he can to make a sale while out on the golf course.

Toby is leaving for Costa Rica, and of course Michael wants to throw a goodbye party to express his happiness. The task of party-planning falls to Phyllis when Angela tires of Michael's ridiculous demands. Dwight and Meredith haze Holly, the new HR representative, while Michael tries to woo her.
